OUR STORY
from a dream to reality...
I started Otsego West Chiropractic in 2008 with the help of my wife Nicole. From the beginning we set out to be different than other chiropractic offices by not pressuring patients to pre-pay for dozens of appointments up front.
Our goal is to treat each person with respect. Listening to patients and fixing their problem as soon as possible is our number one priority.
I’m full-body certified in Active Release Techniques (ART). This is a patented, soft tissue treatment modality used to address many different types of acute and overuse injuries. An example of an acute injury would be a rotator cuff strain from a fall, or pulling the hamstring while running hill sprints.
Repetitive overuse injuries are much more common. Not only in athletics, but in those jobs requiring lots of time at the computer or long hours driving. Think of a runner who develops plantar fasciitis or shin splints while training for a marathon; or a hair stylist with neck pain and headaches from holding their arms up for too long. Hip pain is a common complaint in hockey players and dancers; for example, due to over activity of the surrounding hip musculature (More information about ART can be found under the “Services “ tab).
